FINANCIAL OPTIONS

There are many ways to finance your stay with our facility. We accept individual or group health care insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, Veteran or fraternal organizations benefits, or you may use personal funds.

Our social workers and administrative staff will help you to explore your financial options, if you have any questions, or if you will be taking advantage of private insurance plans or private pay.

If long-term placement is needed because you can no longer live independently, it is important to know that our nursing facility is Medicaid Certified so you may be able to stay after your insurance and/or personal funds are exhausted.

Medicare

Medicare is a Federal insurance program administered by the Social Security Administration. Persons 65 and over, persons disabled for at least two years, or persons suffering from chronic kidney disease qualify for Medicare assistance in nursing home facilities when all conditions are met:

  • The nursing home is a skilled nursing facility (SNF).
  • The patient has spent at least three consecutive days in the hospital and is admitted to a SNF within thirty days after discharge from the hospital.
  • A physician certified that extended care in a skilled nursing facility is needed for the same or related reasons for which the patient was hospitalized.
  • Continuous skilled and/or skilled rehabilitative services are required on a daily basis.

Medicaid

Medicaid is a Federal-State financed assistance program for needy and low income persons of all ages.

Medicaid, under certain conditions, can pay for nursing home care in nursing facilities certified as skilled and intermediate care facilities for those who qualify.

For information regarding your specific situation, please contact the Admissions Director at 330-836-1006.
