At Rockville Nursing Center, we understand that support and guidance are essential for the total well-being of our residents. Our interdisciplinary team approach ensures that the spiritual and emotional, as well as the physical, needs of our residents are met with dignity and respect. An individualized treatment plan is carefully designed for each resident. The physician, nurses, dietitian, social worker, activity director and therapists work together as a team to provide quality care to our residents. Families are an integral component of the team and are encouraged to participate in the development of the resident's plan of care. Residents are admitted and cared for by their own personal physician during their stay with us. Our Medical Director oversees the treatment provided by all professionals to the residents of Rockville Nursing Center.

Full Range of Services

In addition to 24-hour skilled nursing care, a comprehensive range of rehabilitative services including physical, occupational and speech therapy, is available to help each resident return to as active and normal a life as possible. Laboratory tests, EKGs, X-rays and other diagnostic services are performed as required. Consultations with medical specialists are arranged as needed and as directed by the resident's personal physician. Podiatry and dentistry are also provided on premises for the residents' convenience.

Short-term Rehabilitation

Rockville Nursing Center accepts residents for short-term physical rehabilitation. An aggressive therapy regimen is designed based on the needs and ability of each resident. Prior to the completion of the therapy, the resident and the family are involved in the interdisciplinary team process of formulating a customized discharge plan to return the resident to the community.
