Cortlandt Healthcare is a 120-bed Sub-Acute and Skilled Nursing facility nestled in the beautiful Hudson River Valley of New York. We’ve been serving families in our area for over 50 years with care, compassion and comfort and are now a leader in providing short term inpatient rehabilitation and skilled nursing through our renowned sub-acute program. We at Cortlandt are proud to continue our tradition of quality and caring that began when the Cortlandt Nursing Care Center was established in 1951 by physician Percy Garson and his wife, Hermina, a licensed nurse. The historic Pierre Van Cortlandt Upper Manor House was our first home and still stands as a majestic landmark on our grounds today. Today, a new generation of family management continues this tradition of service to our community in a modern, 120-bed facility offering excellent care and state-of-the-art therapies. Our staff members live in the local area and are your friends, neighbors and relatives. Working as a team, we provide our patients and residents with the exceptional quality, caring and medical expertise you’ve come to expect at Cortlandt Healthcare. We value or staff and appreciate their daily efforts to treat each and every patient and resident with the utmost care and respect and appreciate them as individuals.

One visit and you’ll see … Centuries-old maple trees shade our landscaped grounds, where expansive lawns, seasonal gardens and a lovely central courtyard offer pleasant outdoor areas for patients, residents and visitors to enjoy. Indoors, you’ll find a tastefully decorated, home-like facility equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and advances.
Our rehab areas are bright and cheerful and are staffed with top-notch rehabilitation professionals who have access to the latest in equipment to help motivate and encourage maximum independence. Amenities such as a cozy fireplace in the living room, a bright solarium, arts and crafts areas, custom-decorated dining areas and more are inviting and comfortable.
