- A fifteen-passenger bus equipped with a wheelchair lift
is available for trips that help you keep in touch with
the community.
- Beauty and barber services are available in the Shady
Rest Beauty Shop.
- A gift shop is located at the north end of the lobby and
is opened at various times during the day. All profits from
the shop are used for residents' projects.
- You may visit the library located in the activity room.
Included in this library are a book and magazine cart and
materials for the blind.
- Mail is delivered on a timely basis. All mail being sent
to you should have your name and room number along with
the facility's address — Shady Rest Care Pavilion,
Inc., 2310 North Airport Road, Fort Myers, Florida 33907.
- Public phones are available. Volume enhancers are installed
for the hearing impaired. You may have a phone installed
in your room at your own expense, a service that is provided
by the facility to allow for enhanced customer service.
- Televisions, radios and VCRs are located on most units.
Should you decide to bring your own, televisions should
be limited to no more than 19". Please notify the staff
of your intention to bring these items into the facility.
- The Business Office is located off the main lobby and
can be designated to receive your monthly income check,
if you so desire.
- Religious services are provided at the facility on a regular
basis.
- We encourage our residents to have visitors from the
community and have no set visitation hours.
- For the convenience of families and friends, we are located
in a centralized area of Fort Myers, near hotels, malls
and restaurants.
