The Progressive Care Center at Braddock is a Medicare Certified skilled nursing facility designed as a short stay center for patients finishing the acute phase of a hospital stay who have the potential to improve their level of functioning and the ability to return home. Our staff has been selected on the basis of competence and with a positive attitude toward providing quality personal care. We strive to provide quality care in a safe, supportive environment and to assist our residents to maximize their potential.

The Progressive Care Center is a Medicare Skilled Nursing Facility and there are no provisions for private pay. However, if a Medicare resident requests a private room, a $45.00 per day charge will be billed to the resident. Telephone and television services also are an additional cost to the resident. In addition, a beautician is available once weekly and her fee is payable at the time of service. |
| Policies |
The Progressive Care Center is designed as a short stay unit for patients having the protential to improve their functioning and with the abilty to return home or to a lesser level of care. Residents accepted for admission are required to sign admission agreement forms. New admissions should arrive on the unit prior to 2pm to allow adequate time for all necessary evaluations to be completed. The residents admitted to the Progressive Care Center are admitted to their attending physician who has privileges for admission. Arrangements would need to be made with a staff physician to accept an external candidate. |
