| Description |
The VNA has a long history of providing comprehensive, high quality care to the residents of Venango County. A nonprofit, charitable organization, the VNA meets the community's needs by offering a full array of home health services. The VNA is state licensed and Medicare certified and is governed by a local, voluntary Board of Directors. It is the only home care agency located in Venango County. |

| Policies |
Skilled care is required on an intermittent or part-time basis. A plan of treatment is signed by the physician (after initial evaluation visit). The level of care requested can be adequately performed by our staff. The safety of the patient and staff can be reasonably assured based on an assessment of the home environment. The patient is homebound (if requested by the third-party payor). |
