Buena Vida Continuing Care and Rehabilitation Center will employ
high ethical standards in conducting all of its professional and
business activities. Buena Vida has established a comprehensive
program to ensure that it complies with applicable Federal, State
and Local laws and regulations including the requirements of Federal
Health Care Programs (including Medicare and Medicaid).
It is our belief that this program will improve clinical outcomes
for our residents and patients and create a better working environment
for employees and staff. Buena Vida promotes a culture of commitment
to the prevention, detection and resolution of situations that may
not conform to applicable laws, rules and regulations, third party
payer requirements and quality of care standards.
In order to protect against fraud and abuse, information is provided
to Buena Vida employees and contractors regarding Buena Vida’s
corporate compliance program and relevant compliance documents are
provided discussing the provision of Federal and State false claims
laws, as well as informing employees of legal protections against
retaliation for “whistle blowing.”
