Porch Pavilion

Located in the security of the Carmel Community, the Porch Pavilion offers safe, affordable assisted living in Carmel's upscale area. The large airy front porch is a charming spot for relaxation or visitors. Your private room may be decorated to your own personal taste by you or a family memeber.

Delicious meals will be served in the "Porch's" cozy dining room.

Your family, friends, clergy and pets are welcome to visit in your room, tastefully furnished lounges, bright and sunny community room or the flowering courtyard.

CRITERIA FOR ENTRY — All assisted living residents:

  • will be ambulatory (self-mobile) with aids (walker, cane, quad cane or braces). Wheelchair residents will be evaluated on an individual basis.
  • will be able to do light housekeeping (primarily bed making). Linens will be changed by staff on a weekly basis, trash emptied daily and apartments cleaned weekly.
  • will be continent of bowel and bladder or able to use incontinent products independently.
  • will be able to arrive independently to dining area at appropriate times and will be able to eat independently.
  • will be able to take care of personal hygiene with reminders if needed. Showering, oral care, shaving, etc. May need moderate help occasionally.
  • Will accept medication from nursing staff.
  • will not wander out of facility or into other people's rooms.
  • will not display disturbing or disabling behavior traits or habits that would impair their capacity for group living or impose on other residents.
  • will use call lights for emergency only.

In the event of a short-term illness or disability, room services may be provided for an additional fee. Short term stays are considered a 2-week duration.
