This proximity allows tenants of the Oakton Arms to be near friends and family who require a stay in a skilled-care site.

  • free use of laundry facilities on each floor, OR personal laundry may be done for tenants at an extra fee
  • pharmacy deliveries
  • personal transportation
  • home health-care during short illnesses
  • grocery delivery can be arranged
  • monitoring of health condition and room meal service during short illnesses
  • delicious full-course lunch and dinner
  • all utilities included (expect phone)
  • recreational and educational activities including movies, bingo, speakers, performances, trips, social functions, exercise classes, parties and many more (fees charged for some outside acitivities)
  • 24-hour staffed security, sprinklers and smoke detectors

  • Our roomy studio apartments feature plush wall-to-wall carpeting, stylish mini-blinds, ample closet space, individually-controlled heat and air, and a convenience kitchenette.
  • Social lounge and activity areas are impressive and plentiful at the Arms.  We have a luxurious atrium lobby, an arts and crafts studio for creative souls, a large-screen TV room, a library for whimsical readers, a game room, a patio area for enjoying summer breezes, a beauty and barber salon, a soda shoppe for tasty treats, a large multi-purpose room and an elegant dining room.  Family activities and involvement are a priority at the Arms and we have a private dining room that seats 10 to 25 people for gatherings with friends and family.
  • Each apartment has a smoke alarm, sprinkler and two emergency call buttons...one in the bathroom and one in the living area.  Also, halls are fully equipped with smoke alarms, sprinklers and handrails.
