Oakton Pavillion is one of the finest skilled care facilities in the Midwest serving both the sub-acute and the long term care patient. Over the past 17 years, we have provided individualized, professional care to over three thousand people and their concerned families. Our Director of Nursing was the first ever recipient of the Director of Nursing of the Year Award from the Illinois Healthcare Association, an organization of over 450 long term care facilities. She has been is charge of nursing at Oakton since the beginning, and has established and organization and a tradition that offers some of the finest and most compassionate nursing car available anywhere.
Oakton's commitment to nursing at to the highest level of care has not gone unnoticed. First and foremost, our resident and their families appreciate the wonderful difference it makes living in an environment where the best nursing care is highest priority. - Oakton Pavillion's administrator has held this position since 1980. Among his achievements, he has been recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Administrators, the highest professional certification for long-term care administrators. He has over 25 years of experience in geriatric healthcare and holds a Master of Social Work degree.
